CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) milling is one type of metalworking. It refers to cutting with a multi-tool called a cutter on a numerically controlled machine tool, called a CNC milling machine. The whole process of milling is that the rotary motion is performed by the tool, while the feed motion is performed by the workpiece, or tool. Depending on how the axis of rotation of the milling cutter is located relative to the surface to be machined, peripheral and face milling are distinguished. On the other hand, depending on the feed motion in relation to the work motion, a distinction is made between concurrent and counter-rotating milling.
Milling is widely used in the production of various components, from simple details to more complex machine components or plastic injection molds. It is an important technique in the mechanical engineering and manufacturing industries. One of our specialties is CNC milling of both steel, non-ferrous metals (including copper, bronze, aluminum) and plastics. In order to maintain the highest quality of workmanship, we use specialized CAD and CAM software, and our several years of experience in metalworking, as well as our qualified staff allows us to carry out the most complex projects, combined not only with 2D, but also 3D and 5D machining.
